Tryo

Today, thanks to friend Edulms too, I wish to speak about a good band coming from Chile (from Valparaiso) and playing a pretty jazz-rock/fusion: the Tryo. They start their musical career in 1996 with an album sefltitled. The last work of this band is such record (the fifth of their discography): Viajes, issued in 2005, where they play mainly acoustic but very beautiful-sounding instruments, for example vibes, marimba, darbukka, also cello and acoustic guitar. The music is very gentle and full of loveliness with pleasant melodic lines - mostly instrumental, the last tune includes vocals in Spanish. The band is: Felix Carbone / vibraphone, marimba, udu, xaxixi, darabuka, indian drum, crótalos, toms, cymbals, effects, chorus; - Ismael Cortez / acoustic guitars & vocals; - Francisco Cortez / cello, chorus.
