Like Mahavishnu Orchestra, Nucleus and Return to Forever Weather Report was one of the most popular band which played a new kind of jazz: the jazz-rock that later we call it "fusion". The first album of such American band was this one issued in 1971 and selftitled. Inside it we can find Miles Davis' songs and other good tracks. The musicians were: Airto Moreira / percussion. - Alphonze Mouzon / drums, voice - Wayne Shorter / soprano & tenor saxophones - Miroslav Vitous / acoustic & electric basses- Joe Zawinul / acoustic & electric pianos . Maybe it isn't the best one of that group (il like much"I sing the body electric", the next LP) but it is one of the best album of jazz-rock over the world I think. Enjoy!
