Before E.L.P. the clever keyboard-man Keith Emerson founded, in the second half of '60s, a band which played a new sound (for that times): classic music with rock and that now we call symphonic-prog. In the 1970 he started the adventure with Lake and Palmer and The Nice disbanded. In the 2002 the band with old members was together again and recorded a double CD live at Glasgow entitled Vivacitas, but issued in 2003 (also there is a third CD but it is a long and tedious interview with Chris Welch); in such work we find old The Nice's tracks and ELP's songs ( for example Tarkus, but sadly without the vigorous Lake's voice) as well. Its line-up is: Keith Emerson / keyboards; Lee Jackson / bass & vocals; Brian Davison / drums; Dave Kilmister / guitar; Phil Williams / bass; Pete Riley / drums. Enjoy!
