Tony Levin

Tony Levin, born in USA, is one of the best bassist in the world. Throughout his work with legends such as Peter Gabriel, Robert Fripp (and his King Crimson) , Alice Cooper, Lou Reed and his numerous side projects, he established himself as one of the true pioneers of the instrument. He has always pushed the melodic boundaries of his instrument. His third album solo is this Pieces Of The Sun issued in 2002, a very good jazz-rock/fusion album with this line-up: Tony Levin- bass, acoustic guitar and vocals; Larry Fast- synth and vocals; Jesse Grees- electric guitar; Jerry Marotta- drums and sax;The California Guitar Trio (Bert Lams, Hideyo Moriya, Paul Richards) - acoustic guitars (1). The album is a recent work so I post the first three tracks only.
