Traffic Sound

Today, thanking Edulms, we go to Perù to listen to this psychedelic/space rock band "Traffic Sound". We must remember in 1968 started a very turbulent decade in Perú, the democratic Government was interrupted by a Military Ultra Nationalist Dictator, who clearly stated that Rock was a dangerous Yankee influence against our ancestral inheritance and for that reason considered a poison. Anyway they were able to record albums, the first one was such Virgin , issued in the end of '69. Their music maybe can remeber the sounds of Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Traffic, Doors and Pink Floyd as well, but sometimes it is quite original as well. The band was: Manuel Sanguinetti / lead singer, percussion; - Willy Barclay / lead & acoustic guitar, vocals; - Freddy Rizo Patron / rhythm guitar, vocals; - Willy Thorne / bass, organ, piano, vocals; - Jean Pierre Magnet / Tenor saxophone, flute, percussion; - Luis Nevares / drums, vibraphone, percussion.
