Erna Schmidt

One of the most beautiful live album coming from Germany I believe; yes of course, these Erna Schmidt played a pretty krautrock with many improvisations inside their music. When they were a band not recorded any albums (the next band was Kraan) but in 2000 issued old live records entitled Live 69-71. Their music is a mix of old Pink Floyd, Jimy Hendrix, Cream, Jethro Tull with jazz veins. The line-up was: Hubert Stytz / guitar; - Hartmut Mau / flute, sax, oboe, ocarina; - Walther Laible / bass; - Wolfgang Mathias / drums. Enjoy!
