Satin Whale

The German band ‘Satin Whale’ was founded around 1971 near Cologne and during a rock contest in 1974 it was elected the most popular German band. The music is inspired in Jethro Tull flute-work. I find it not quite original but nicely to listen to. They recorded five albums from 1974 and a double live lp, today posted, issued in 1978 and entitled: Whalecome with such line-up: Thomas Bruck / bass, vocals; - Gerald Dellman / organ, piano, keyboards; - Wolfgang Hieronymi / percussion, drums; - Dieter Roesberg / guitar, wind, guitar (12 string), slide guitar. Enjoy!
